My name is John Holt. My wife is Christy Holt a teacher for Seguin ISD. I am the proud father of 2 beautiful daughters, Keaghan & Kamdyn. I have lived in Texas all my life. I was born in Dallas and grew up in Mesquite. I graduated from North Mesquite High School and served in the U.S. Naval Reserves for 6 years. During which time, I received an Associates and a Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Care From Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. I worked at Santa Rosa Children's Hospital for 3 years before returning to the Dallas area to be the Assistant Director of Baylor/Richardson Medical Center's Cardiopulmonary Department. In 1998, I left the medical field for a position in the telecommunications field. Through mergers and layoffs, I ended up in the automotive industry. After finding out about the future arrival of our second child, we relocated to South Texas to be closer to Christy's family. I wanted her to have the added assistance she needed while I was working. I moved my mother to Seguin shortly following and after several years of selling vehicles, I decided it was time to give back to my community. And hence evolved MY FATHER"S TOOLS.
I believe there are three things in our lives: GOD, FAMILY, and Work and they come in that order.
Now this business would not be possible without the grace of God. He is the one who has provided me with the ability and the talents that are needed to do all that I do. I attend First United Methodist Church on Austin street in Seguin. Seguin is where Christy and I want our daughters to grow up. We have fallen in love with the people and intend on being here for a very long time.

In 2009, after years of serving as a Respiratory therapist, Telecommunications installer, and automotive sales consultant, John founded My Fathers Tools. He saw the need for a service company that served the needs of the local community.
Paula Dean,
Office Manager
Paula, John's mother, is the reason John is able to constantly be helping customers. She handles the paperwork and customer satisfaction surveys. Paula has an extensive background in administration and management. This experience is supplemented by broad skills in customer relationship.
